Milwaukie


Known as the “Dogwood City” of the West and the birthplace of the Bing Cherry; Milwaukie was settled and claimed by Pioneer Lot Whitcomb in 1847 and was formally incorporated in 1903 by an Act of the Oregon State Legislature. Its location along the Willamette River attracted entrepreneurs who established lumber mills at the turn of the century.
